Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Accessibility
FIX Restoration is committed to ensuring that everyone who visits this website can access its content, regardless of the technology they use or any disability they may have. We believe that clear, usable information about water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and restoration services should be available to every property owner who needs it.
This site is built with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized benchmark for web accessibility. Those guidelines cover a broad range of recommendations for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with varying abilities.
What We’ve Done to Support Accessible Use
We have taken practical steps to make this site usable across a range of assistive technologies and browsing conditions:
- Screen reader compatibility. Page structure uses semantic HTML elements, headings, landmarks, and lists, so screen readers can navigate content in a logical order.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements, including navigation menus, contact forms, and phone links, are reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Text alternatives. Images that convey meaning include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked so assistive tools can skip them.
- Color and contrast. Text and background color combinations are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, supporting users with low vision or color-vision differences.
- Readable type. Font sizes are set in relative units so the page scales correctly when a visitor increases text size through their browser settings.
- No time-limited content. Nothing on this site requires a timed response or auto-refreshes in a way that would disrupt assistive technology sessions.
Known Limitations
We work to keep accessibility improvements ongoing, but no site is perfectly compliant at every moment. Third-party content, such as embedded maps or external scheduling tools, may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every context. When we identify gaps, we prioritize addressing them.
If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from getting the information you need, please let us know. We treat accessibility reports as actionable feedback, not suggestions.
How to Report an Issue

Please describe the specific page or feature you had difficulty with and, if possible, the browser and assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond to accessibility concerns within a reasonable timeframe and to provide an accessible alternative or a fix as quickly as we are able.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time checklist. As we update content, add new pages, or integrate new tools, we carry accessibility requirements into those changes. We welcome feedback from users with disabilities as a practical guide to where improvements matter most.
