What This Policy Covers

This privacy policy explains how FIX Restoration collects, uses, and protects information you share when you visit this website or contact us about water damage, fire damage, mold, or other restoration services. We’ve written it to be straightforward, if you have questions, reach us directly at scott.noland@gofloodpros.com or (801) 930-9750.

Information We Collect

When you fill out a contact or estimate request form, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of the damage or service you need. We may also collect basic, anonymized analytics data, page views, general geographic region, browser type, through standard website analytics tools. This analytics data is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect payment card numbers through this website. Payment is handled directly at the time of service.

How We Use Your Information

The information you share is used for one purpose: helping you. That means responding to your inquiry, scheduling an on-site estimate, coordinating the scope of work, and, where you have authorized us to do so, communicating with your insurance carrier to document the loss and process your claim. We do not use your contact information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties under any circumstances.

Sharing With Insurance Carriers

Restoration work often involves your homeowner’s or commercial property insurance carrier. We share claim-related documentation (photos, moisture readings, scope reports) with your carrier only when you have authorized us to do so, either verbally or through a signed work-authorization or direction-to-pay form. We do not contact your carrier or release your information without that authorization.

Data Retention

We retain job records and associated contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the service, support any warranty period, and comply with applicable Utah contractor recordkeeping requirements. If you would like your information removed from our records and there is no active legal or contractual obligation requiring us to keep it, contact us at the email or phone number above.

Your Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of that information, though we do not sell personal data. Residents of other states with similar consumer privacy statutes may have comparable rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly and we will respond promptly.

GDPR applies primarily to residents of the European Economic Area. Because our services are limited to Utah and the surrounding region, we do not anticipate GDPR obligations, but we are committed to handling all personal data respectfully regardless of where a visitor is located.

Cookies and Analytics

This site may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic analytics and site functionality. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; doing so will not prevent you from using the site or submitting an inquiry.
